Charleston Receiving Warehouse started from a simple observation: designers spend their time choosing furniture, not chasing freight. Somebody has to take the call when a shipment lands two weeks early, somebody has to know which sofa is whose when three projects are mid-install at once, and somebody has to show up on delivery day with a plan instead of a guess.

That somebody is us. Our team comes out of Charleston's white-glove moving and delivery trade years of getting heavy, expensive, easily-damaged things in and out of homes without drama. We built this warehouse to put that same care upstream, starting the moment a piece is dropped off by a carrier, not just the day it's delivered to a client.

We work with a small roster of Charleston-area design studios and showrooms, handling receiving, storage, and delivery for their trade shipments the kind of quiet, behind-the-scenes work most designers don't want to think about, and shouldn't have to.

We're based in Charleston, close enough to the peninsula and the islands to make delivery day simple, with a warehouse built around one job: keeping track of what's yours until you're ready for it.

Accountability

Every item, logged

If it's in our warehouse, it's photographed, tagged, and traceable back to your project no "let us go check."

Communication

No surprises on delivery day

You'll hear from us when something arrives, when something's flagged, and when we're ready to schedule not just when there's a problem.

Care

Treated like it's irreplaceable

Whether it's a flat-pack console or a family antique, it gets handled like the client is standing right there watching.
